Alexa & Echo: AI settings for parents
Turn on Amazon Kids on an Echo to give it a kid-safe mode. How the newer Alexa+ AI works for kids isn't confirmed.
Can a parent turn it off? Partly
Partly. You can put an Echo in Amazon Kids mode and manage it from the Parent Dashboard. We couldn't confirm how Alexa+ AI works on Amazon Kids devices.
What the AI feature is
Alexa is Amazon's voice assistant on Echo speakers and screens. Amazon's newer Alexa+ uses generative AI to have longer, more natural conversations.
