iPhone: Apple Intelligence & Siri: AI settings for parents

Screen Time lets you choose Siri's version and block AI writing, AI images, and the ChatGPT extension.

Can a parent turn it off? Yes, you can turn it off

Yes. In Screen Time you can block Siri completely, choose which Siri your kid gets, and block AI writing, AI images, and ChatGPT one by one.

Apple Intelligence is the AI built into newer iPhones, iPads, and Macs. It includes Writing Tools, AI image makers (Image Playground, Genmoji, Image Wand), notification summaries, an optional ChatGPT extension, and, starting with iOS 27, a new “Siri AI (Beta)”.
